This movie almost didn’t get made because they didn’t have enough money. But Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Jethro Tull and others helped fund the movie because they were such big fans of the comedy troupe

I'm an old man like Nick, well I'm 5 months older. Anyways, I've tried to get through this movie so many times and never finished it. FYI Monty Python was a huge influence for Matt and Trey from South Park.

Holy Grail is probably the slight consensus favorite, but Life of Brian is at least in the same tier (and some folks prefer it). I don't think you caught it (I spaced out if you did)--but we know for a fact they're wrongfully accused... because Frank's killer was riding an actual horse.

This was quite nostalgic for me, not because I grew up with it or anything, but because a friend from high school was absolutely obsessed with this movie. She would randomly quote it even though 99% of the other students didn't have a damn clue what she was talking about. Her senior art assessment piece was a giant killer rabbit. Very funny girl. Cool friend. Haven't seen her in 15 years probably. Bought me right back. 😂
