Great reaction as usual! A little history on Ra’s al Guhl Created in the early 70’s by Denny O’Neil who was then overhauling the Batman comics to be more serious in nature. Ra’s most famous storyline that even non-comic fans have heard of is “Tower of Babel”. The plot centered around Batman devising secret plans to take down every Justice League member, including Superman and Wonder Woman, and Ra’s al Guhl stealing those plans and using them to actually neutralize them for a bit. The League recuperates and saves the day then promptly votes to kick Batman’s ass out of the League. The crazy world of comics amirite?

There isn't a whole story as such with batman and Robin I mean comics are still ongoing. It's a living thing. Great reaction guys.

What a fantastic trilogy of films! One of my favorites. Glad you guys enjoyed

That's two Nolan movies now that end with Michael Cain's character acknowledging Christian Bale's character who was believed to be dead lol

Pretty impressed you picked up on who Bane was without knowing before hand. I'm a big fan of Tom and still don't hear much of him in that voice lol Might just be me

so true, these guys are amazing and I am one of the biggest fan of Tom but I didn't know him back then.

"I know that guy from Inception." about Gordon-Levitt. Then we have Mal aka Miranda, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Cillian who also played in Inception, maybe more that I forget. Insane cast.

The previous two movies heavily used Chicago as Gotham. Nick is right, in this one they used NYC instead. As a Chicago native I always felt betrayed that they switched for the final movie!

I brought up Christopher Nolan's practical effects on the Dark Knight reaction. Interestingly enough, the plane scene at the start was entirely practical. Obviously, slight CGI, but they did actually have a plane 'tube' dragged through the air by another plane.

I know this is a bit pedantic, but the one thing about Robin is Robin was always the superhero name, not the name of the actual person wearing the mask. Perhaps in this universe, they simply didn't care about that history. Typically, Robin was the alter ego of (first) Dick Grayson (the Robin most people think of), and then a whole bunch of others who took up the mantle (including Batman's son, Damien Wayne, who funnily enough, in the comics, was the offspring of Bruce and Talia Al-Ghul).

It’s clearly not the same character as Robin. They just used the name as an Easter egg because he’s also a kind of protégé to Batman.
