“The reason tailed beasts are put into children is they’re bodies are better at dealing with the changes that occur from becoming a tailed beast vessel. The older you are when they’re implanted, the worse effect it’ll have on your body. That’s why so many villages like to put their jinchuriki into Uzumaki’s because we’re naturally better vessels.”

Kushina downed the rest of her tea before signalling at one of Gin’s wives to refill her cup before she got back to the story. “I’ve only heard stories from the past before we even designed the jinchuriki system. Back when the warring states people was going on, the Uzumaki made their names well known for our fighting capabilities, our weaponry, and the tailed beast we controlled.”

Taking another sip of the freshly poured tea, Kushina continued. “Back then, we didn’t know much about fuinjutsu. It was only after seeing how the tailed beast's energy flowed through objects that we became so good at it. All of the seals designed for holding the tailed beast were derived from the ones the Uzumaki had created. Before then, only pure vessels could house them; they were the natural enemies, or some would say allies, of the tailed beasts because they could purify the built-up corruption the tailed beasts had.”

The group listened intently to her explanation before Hiami asked a question. “So, why did Tama’s body suddenly grow when he touched the jinchuriki?” Kushina put her finger on her chin as she spoke. “This is just speculation, but I think the sudden influx of the tailed beast's energy forced his body to grow. Think of it like a bucket that grew to fit the amount of water that was being poured into it; at least, that’s my best guess.”

Gin was already on his fifth cookie as he asked. “So… What does this mean for him?” Holding the teacup with both hands, Kushina spoke solemnly. “At the very least, the village leaders will find out about this. There is no covering this up. What happens to him after will depend on what they want to do with him… But I can tell you from experience, he’ll be scorned for being different by most, especially if he becomes another vessel for a tailed beast.”

I woke up expecting my body to hurt, but it didn’t. I just felt… At peace until I opened my eyes and noticed I wasn’t in the real world but my own soul space. Many changes had been made since I was last here, the first being it was no longer pure white but had taken on some of the surroundings I had grown up near. There was an almost one-for-one recreation of my house, a close copy of the classrooms at school, a much smaller Ryuchi lake that sat next to the area where I trained my jutsu, and near that lake was a figure of perfection.

Goddess, she looked to be sunbathing, something I hadn’t noticed was the sun in the sky, there was also a sky, and she was completely naked. Her exposed breasts made my body hard at just the sight, I couldn’t help but marvel at her beauty. She rolled onto her back and what I thought was a colorfull towel was a beautiful pair of butterfly wings and fox-like tail covering the crack of her ass.

With all of her best bits covered, I finally got a good look at everything else. Besides the tail and wings, nothing stood out on her as non-human. Her deep red hair hung down passed her wings, almost reaching her tail before the last foot of it became pure white. As if she knew I was checking her out, she turned back over with one leg raised and a hand covering her breasts, making it so nothing was visible from where I stood.

It dawned on me then that I might be oogling a woman who didn’t even realize I was here, so I decided to speak up. “Umm… Hello there, Miss Beautiful.” A smirk appeared on her face as she finally opened her eyes, revealing the most beautiful orange eyes I’d ever seen. “So… Do you know who I am?” She asked, quirking her head in curiosity as her form went from naked to clothed in an instant.

I had no idea, and once again, as if she knew what I was thinking, she spoke. “I’m… New. I don’t think I’ve ever existed on this planet before. You birthed me by having the chakra of two different jinchuriki in your body, and I only know one thing for sure. I’m here to help you protect something.” I gulped as I tried to keep eye contact with her. Even with the clothes on, she was still the most beautiful woman I had ever seen.

She stared at me as she licked her lips, and I felt like a piece of meat being stared at by a predator. “No, little man, you’re still too young. We’ll have to wait to have some fun; until then, don’t have a boring life because I can see what you see.” With that, I was kicked out of my own soul space.

I hadn’t noticed the change in my body until after we met. I had aged up to about thirteen in appearance from my body growing and was now taller than Naruto again. That wasn’t the only thing that changed, I felt another part of my kekkei mora activate. My bloodlines purified. 

The Uzumaki blood in my veins was purer than Mito’s. I could wield the adamantine chains, my blood could heal wounds, the Kaguya mind’s eye strengthened my chakra sense, and I felt my chakra reserves increase, and they would continually increase to obscene levels. 

The Senju blood in my body strengthened to the point I could use wood release far more easily, and I got the incaling of how Hashirama might have activated his sage mode and regenerating body. The eighth of my blood that wasn’t human had improved as if I was a pseudo-jinchuriki, and I could wield many techniques that my siblings and perhaps even my mother couldn’t. But the largest change was to my unknown bloodline.

The unknown bloodline I received from my father’s father was what made it possible for me to house the tailed beast in my body while also purifying it. The bloodline by itself was weak and sickly, which meant that very rarely did any of my blood even find out they could house tailed beasts perfectly; that number was reduced to zero once the Uzumaki started sealing the tailed beasts into other vessels. I still wasn’t sure everything this bloodline could do, but I knew I could just do more than what was ever possible because of the stronger body and bloodlines strengthening me.

I looked around the room and noticed someone was watching me sleep nearby. I almost jumped out of my skin until my brain caught up with who it was. “Hey, Kushina, why are you here in my room?” Getting jumpscared for a second by a beautiful lady gave me a sense of deja vu. She sat in a chair that was brought in, as I still couldn’t understand why she was waiting here. Was this another dream?

With the soft smile she almost always wore, she spoke. “Well, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news first: the council will most likely find out about you. It means that you’re life inside the village might get much harder going forward. The good news, I’m going to train you in fuinjutsu so you can seal yourself if the worst comes to pass. I just wanted to tell you your life is about to change, and possibly not for the better.”
