Baron of Awesome

This is what? A thousand words? I know you set a personal goal of posting three chapters per day, which is insane and we love you for it, but I would much appreciate longer chapters as opposed to shorter ones like these. If you’re struggling to keep up with the demand of multiple chapters a day, I would recommend lowering the number of chapters posted per day, rather than posting shorter chapters. But ultimately it’s up to you. if you feel like you’re comfortable with multiple chapters daily then please, ignore me. But if you’re struggling, please lessen the load on yourself.

1633 words. My chapters are typically 1500-2000 words, some can be longer but rarely are they shorter

Hmm making a physical rune seems a little much. It might be better to make a tattoo. Or if he is mad enough mark the runes on his bones.

Touch

Aw man, I thought he gonna have 3 dimensional fundamentals runes. Wouldn’t that be a lot better and have more potential for expansion?

CentrisAce

It seems a bit complicated right now; it seems he hasn't even scratched the surface with the 2d runes.

Touch

That’s true, but this one is his REAL permanent body… there might be some way to heal the runes on his body but still

Scholar of Endless Knowledge

This is the first wtf moment. Why the fuck would he not wait until her went back to the two suns world and learned more and maybe even the blue sun runes. Feels really rushed for something like this

Kynan

He has a battle with Chen Wu coming up, he can always go back to the Two Suns world later to learn more runes

Kynan

A typical Skybound can only have 1 Fundamental Rune which is inscribed on the body. Having multiple Fundamental Runes inscribed on the physical body would cause chaos and destroy them. Ke Yin doesn't plan on having multiple Fundamental Runes on his body, his main goal is to have one in his inner world (which is connected to his soul, which is why he is able to take it to any other world he travels to). If he can do that, then whatever body Ke Yin inhabits, the Fundamental Rune will purify and let Ke Yin channel the miniature red suns power. This physical Fundamental Rune is only a stepping stone until he can inscribe one in the inner world. And since his inner world and vessels are separate, there won't be a clash, especially considering that both will be the same Fundamental Rune, if anything he'll likely experience a boost in purity then. No other Skybound can use this method since they don't have an inner world. I hope that explains Ke Yin's decision, if you feel like this should be explained in this (or the next chapter) to make it more clear what Ke Yin's plan is, then let me know and I'll edit it in or add it to next chapter

Dont listen to him, pace yourself and keep it going for as long as you can, you are already doing superhero level effort

I think the confusion is that the fundamental rune was largely shaped by the red sun energy. So it seems like it would need to be adapted to find a balance that is guided by both energies. Unless the blue sun energy is not channeled through the fundamental rune. I had originally figured the blue sun would have its own fundamental rune overlayed atop the other but sounds like the one rune will just have to pull double duty.

I think this may be worth explaining explicitly. From your explanation I’m assuming he can remove the physical rune at some point? It was described as permanent previously so that’s the part that confused me. Also thanks for writing the series had been very fun to read so far!
