The elders haven't really given Ke Yin much attention in book 1 because he didn't showcase anything extraordinary (he tried to stay low-key). Book 2 focuses more on the sect life, elders etc so we're going to get to see that

Hmm so demonic body or a core removal surgery. Which the pendant could the fathers core and to make a body that can’t be detected. The father would make an excellent assassin. That can active their cultivation at will.

What even is a soul realm? Hasn’t been discussed yet. I assume it’s something like using either demonic cultivation or holy arts alters your soul in a way that excludes the other, and this is expressed in the ‘soul realm’, whatever that actually is? Probably a part of the soul? Maybe both of those happen/exist in only this part of the soul?
