For someone who knows about tropes and story they seem blind to the archetype they’ve become or becoming. Unless they’re like Fang Yuan from Reverend Insanity or have a protagonist fortune stealing system they’re aren’t safe. Even then they’ll have to watch out for plot scenarios because if they are a protagonist they’ll encounter hardships in order to make the story interesting.

Fang Yuan is surely unique and as I read you are referring to I am the fated villain? Anyway, seems that this Masked One is also a transmigrator who did not realise that this world is not a game. Hmm. The mask seems to be a new character because if it was someone they would have noticed Ke Yin. We got our Tobi/obito. Antagonist. A collector of souls. Might not have a system. Or could be a mission board type or a gacha type.

I do find it amusing that Li Yuan is mocking Ke Yin at this point as well - Ke Yin also focuses on protagonists and stuff an unhealthy amount! 😂
