I feel like this had to have skipped something. The nature of the relationship is due to the blue sun energy, yet we are happily deferring any of that discussion for extended formation lessons? In the middle of the day after registering for the tournament? Seems like we did a timeskip.

Chen Yong decided to do the first lesson immediately because there was no reason to delay. After the first lesson is complete, Ke Yin will tell us his tournament preparation plan etc how he'll use the time loop

I think having so many varied sect based plot points all overlapping and being sprung on him instantly after getting back has made it feel a bit messy or rushed. Almost more plot than story maybe? Like you’re getting the set up out of the way so you can go back to the story instead of it being part of the story. I have no idea how it should be done as I see how there’s overlap in how all these different events will synergise but maybe a few extra chapters or time break for each point?

I'm pretty sure this lesson and conversation has only lasted at most half an hour even less, man is a Life Realm cultivator who has lived 1000+ years, nothing really was deferred especially since I'm assuming the man is gonna go into a mini seclusion and be unavailable while studying the blue sun energy
