I’m surprised he didn’t do some work to figure out who deactivated the barrier this time around. With foreknowledge of the event, it should be possible I reckon. Plus he needs to figure out a way of doing it so he can have an extended stay at Red Sun academy and get into higher ranks I reckon. Once stronger than rank 2, when he portals in he can slap down Ice girl (vayara?) and go on a jaunt exploring the planet. TFTC!

I have rewritten the ending, I accidentally included Tomas's death & Elder Molric's reaction. This has now been changed. This particular timeline stops when the elders meet up above the academy before Tomas dies.
