The resonance shield formation takes outside attacking qi and stores it. Why not channel the stored energy into his soul realm to power formations?? Attack and defense formations actively activated by enemies attacks as they try to kill he’s made stronger by their every attack and probe. ( this would be passive formation not active all the time only when energy is inputted and maybe redrawn everytime used??)

That is more advanced that what Ke Yin is currently capable of, but that is a very good idea for when he becomes a Level 3 Formation expert, that is when practitioners chain formations together. It's also where we'll explore methods like you mentioned and others that formation experts use for battle.

Yes, he's limited by system info that he can't share, and info that he & Ke Yin don't know. Usually he prefers to work things through with Ke Yin to figure out a solution, instead of just giving the answer.

There would need to be a digestion phase, too. It’s not just qi, it’s a qi attack, and it’s been shaped, altered- colored, textured, flavored, to cause harm to the next thing it hits. You can’t just shove it into your meridians, they’ll get shredded, you need external pacification of attacks, or external taking of attacks and you actually just gather the released energy before it disperses… but that second thing seems counter-productive, just cultivating while you fight. You should use the directionality of the attacks as a resource, just not letting it harm YOU. However that’s possible.
