Ok Azure’s comment seems..out of character. I expect him to be more understanding of politics instead of agreeing (therefore encouraging MC) that cultivators/people of this world are engaging in “pointless” politics. It’s basically instead of conforming to society, understanding it, and be able to control it at large effectively. They reject it with thinking “cultivators” are “them”, and “we” are better by not playing politics.
