They were called to enter the building in "alphabetical order" and as the names were called out it became clear that it is very specifically modern English alphabetical order. Isn't the language and writing system here completely different? I don't think we even knew that they had an alphabet rather than a syllabary before this chapter. I feel like it being such a weirdly specific thing to mention and for it to be identical to modern Earth English has to have major plot significance. Otherwise it would probably have been by like... age or family status or something in this world? That or the Kynan forgot and I am staring very intensely at nothing lol.
