Hah, suck on that mc your feeble disguise has screwed you over throughly! Really managed to make it while trying to fake your way out of it. Can’t weasel out this now (at least I don’t think he can)!

At least he joined with another Saint candidate that usually (presumably?) dies before the selection process. That should draw some of Kal’s suspicion. The MC is likely stuck becoming the Saint from here on out though, at least as long as he joins up with the Blue Sun. An unknown village boy that dies in almost every loop being an unknown, one of a kind talent is one thing. A village boy whose inherent talent changes every loop is another, and will be super obvious to Kal. The MC better hope that Kal is tied up by something at the beginning of the loop though. It’ll be disastrous if Kal is free to “find” Thomas on his own at the beginning of each loop. Especially since it’s likely that the MC doesn’t join every loop, and Kal would probably realize the other Thomas is a completely different person. Kal immediately seeking out the MC would also basically abolish any chance that Thomas would have of joining the Red Sun Academy without Kal’s cooperation. Ideally, circumstances won’t allow Kal to immediately seek out Thomas at the beginning of a loop. If that’s the case, then the MC can sleep easy knowing that the other Thomas will always die before Kal can reach him in a new loop.

This selection process and revelation lacked some pompastic elements. They were supposed to be fanatics and elect some kind of pope. You could have used some ceremonial elements from the Catholic Church to create a scene that screams "we have a new Saint! Now it felt like an exam of sorts, and all the previous drama really didn't matter.
