I do appreciate the difference in Wu and Ke's decision to tell people about them being in an inner world, Wu Kangming's colder, stoic philosophy vs Ke Yin's compassion. In addition to Wu's comments on the deceit he faced in his life, I also think it shows the difference between a cultivation world native and Ke. Irl there are so many things that the average person will never know in their life, while for a cultivator, knowledge is power and power begets knowledge

I hope their meeting starts with ke yin saying something like "I hope that whatever happens, we can still be friends after", or some mention of how he considers wu kangming a worthy adversary or has respect for him or some such.

Why are his parents still in the run down house? He was acknowledged as the prophecy child when he started cultivating and was offered all of those resources. The Yue Clan would have restored his parents to a good position just to stay on his good side. I understand his parents spent most of their accumulated wealth helping Tian advance but shouldn't they still have a decent house within the Yue Clan compound?
