Theoretically, couldn't the sect allow Wu Kangming to reenter the realm outside of the tourney? Presumably there would be some resource cost involved to open the realm but it seems like the type of thing a sect would allow for a special disciple even if he had to spend contribution points or other form of payment to do so.

And you also have to take time into account twenty+ years have passed within the dream world whilst only a day or two has passed out in the cultivation world. Let’s say it takes him a week to get enough points that’s at least seventy years. A month? Centuries.
