John Cena

Thanks for a very unique, albeit long tournament and happy planning!

Jean Clinet

Yes!!! Wu will have first hand experience of loving family and brotherhood.

My own honest review of this arc: I loathed the beginning, it was like starting another new story and losing out on the character you built in the story. I do tend to loathe the "you lose all your old power" arcs. But as soon as he remembered himself it did come back to being good and then eventually built into being great at the apex.

Thomas Morris

Thanks for the arc, i really enjoyed it. Really crystalized the amount of build up before into something more cohesive to build on more in the future

Phoenixdrop

Well saw that coming but yeah this is going to be great a little winding down before next arc then we kick things off with a breakthrough to elemental and head back to two suns to wake up some world trees and maybe hit rank two in both red and blue while trying to deal with the fact our time looping friend is going to immediately realize something is wrong when he shows up with a vein (can’t remember how to spell the full name for someone born with a blue sun symbol) and how that will effect things maybe come up with something like dejavu but you know his vein comes with him he does have the highest affinity to blue sun energy ever seen so who’s to say it couldn’t happen though who knows how he’ll take it really

Ke Yin now just needs to offer Wu Kangming the technique instructions to visit the Dream Realm whenever he wants so he can visit his real parents.

I respect the need to plan out the next arc… but I really want to see the conversation between him and the sect master about the karma surge and the corrupted realm and the blue sun energy and the time loop. I’m beginning to suspect that creepy bitch who rigged the matches and turned wu kangmings girlfriend into a psycho is infected with blue sun energy, and this conversation will help clarify that

Nicolai Custodio

Thank you for this arc. It was a great one.

He can't. Well, I mean, he can teach him how the technique functions, but he can't use it because he doesn't have access to Dream Qi. Ke Yin's cultivation allows him to retain access to these other energies and produce more, but Kangming only has Qi now that he is back in the Cultivation world.

First of all, I've really enjoyed the story so far. Lots of great character development, and you've done a great job of world building. You've even had to do a lot more world building than normal for stories like this given how the world works. So bravo! However, and I think several other people have pointed this out, we're now 600+ chapters into the story and despite Ke Yin achieving extremely high cultivation in multiple separate worlds, he is still in the FIRST realm of cultivation in the primary world. That's a pacing problem, I think. I'm not saying you've got to pull a 180 and start rushing through the ranks, but there is an imbalance here, and combined with the repeated sense of "starting over" when he enters a new world, it creates some dissatisfaction for me in the progression. There is a missing sense of payoff for all his hard work, particularly when he keeps doing things and dealing with problems that are wildly outside his power level.

You really had me going for a moment there, thinking Ke Yin was going to refuse the Sect Master's offer and insist on Elder Chen. Not sure if that was your intention or not, but I literally copied the sentence "I would be a fool to refuse this opportunity" to my phone clipboard in preparation to make a comment about how I saw the twist coming the moment I read the line.

Summer Coff

Also, I wonder if Ke Yin's inability to think of himself as being worthy of mentorship (except by the guy who already knew him) until the moment it happened means he's still kind of thinking of himself as an outsider. At this point it reeks of mental conditioning someone's put on him just out of sight.

Druid

Despite my complaints about pacing, which you've acknowledged already, I can honestly say you've wrapped up this segment very well and I'm quite satisfied in that regard.

Albadia

a wonderful and perfect conclusion. a satisfying final, love the relationship with Kangming and the dual disciples to the Sect Master. can’t wait!

Brunzy90

Maybe it's because one of my early favorite series is Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time... your pacing while a bit slow for this style being released chapter by chapter wouldn't feel so slow in a published book. Kudos wordsmith for an excellent story. I'm looing forward to the journies ahead.

Pauliiik

Thank you so much, i absolutely love this webnovel. I don't care how long it takes i will be here until the end

Necro_32

I genuinely love this story, and as someone who loves novels that take their time and go on for as long as possible I’m very grateful for the length of the novel.

Seth

I was skeptical at first, but I actually really enjoyed this arc. I liked all the inner worlds.

Andrew Fox

I can't wait for the sect master to interrogate him about the Chosen time loop. Gonna be a very interesting conversation.

John Cena

The longer the buildup. The stronger the powerup. I look forward to seeing what realm our MC ends up in. It should be very interesting. :)

JibesVibes

I understand this arc felt long but I really enjoyed the build up and reveal of which character was which, and the brief slice of life into the fight felt great!

Reading Boi

despite this arc being a bit long, i still enjoyed it so see you next monday

hi! i really enjoyed the tournament slash world hopping arc, but i thought i might give my two cents regarding the pacing. i dont actually think the arc was too long, or at least, that wasnt my issue. the internal pacing was pretty solid overall. the problem as i see it was that it kinda came out of nowhere and interrupted the general plot. the tournament lead up had so many hooks - wei lins corruption and the needed return to two suns, the masked man and ke jun, the grand elder pushing ke yin, ke yins inner world and the new life in it. all good stuff, all stuff i care to follow up on. the tournament world-rush was great and i loved it, mostly cause the exploration of different cultivation worlds is one of the main draws for me, but it felt jarring because it interrupted all the other stuff. i think, if i was better prepared for it, the arc would flow better. maybe have the elders warn thisll take a while? dunno. anyway, those are my thoughts. thank you!
