I didn't realize Ke Yin knew about Elder Zhao's outburst and trying to take the realm stabilizing tree. I thought their chamber was visable, but sound protected and separate from the rest of the tournament... in which case, only the other elders would know about Elder Zhao's attempt. Ke Yin was also actively fighting in a separate realm. He couldn't have overheard unless told another way

Tyftc! I like where things are heading, but it feels a little weird to me that Master Yuan is only ever referred to as "Master". It makes sense that Ke Yin would call him that, but I think the narrator portions would read better with "Master Yuan". Might just be me though.

I also wonder why he hasn't brought up the corruption or his need to get back to the world of the chosen. This was the perfect opportunity to explain. I wonder how that fellow stuck the look would feel learning that he went through loop after loop of suffering so Ke Yin could drink tea.
