There is the church, the blood statue, yggy, the R&B suns ,the plants and fishes he has that could be where the last line was referring to... or is it the fact that due to qi being an higher tier of energy its gonna do a higher level of the fusion he did in the dream realm against him. This opportunity has the chance of giving him access to even more worlds or influencing them, as if we all remember, Ke Yin/Azure made a good starting cultivation technique that laid a excellent foundation for his journey. This position might allow him even greater access to the libraries of the different libraries to both refine his techniques and to create some for his future teaching endeavors

Once he annexes the Star realm completely his own growth will outpace the genesis seeds growth once more even when he forms a new connection. I really don’t want him to connect to another world without a really good reason

I think the intent is that eventually he will absorb all the worlds he has visited. Right now he is only actually connected to two: Starhaven and Dream World. He isn't truly connected to Two Suns yet, though it almost did when he touched the Elder Tree there to wake it up. But Ke Yin's whole building dao revolves around connection and relationships. He won't want to abandon the people he's connected with in other worlds. If he advances his Dao, he won't be ABLE to abandon them. So eventually he will have to either steal or somehow purchase those realms from the Sect.

If the tribulation is designed to test the foundation of his cultivation I only see one answer: Ke Yin. The true foundation is that he is inhabiting Ke Yin's body. Everything else is built on that. I could see the Tribulation being him confronted by Ke Yin's soul, contending for the right to keep the body. Also, it would be an emotional gut punch to have to face down the soul of the person whose body, whose life, you've snatched, however unintentionally.

Wait, what if that realm with the 3 trees he donated blue sun energy to was somehow Yuan's former master's inner world? But could it be, if it was 3 trees instead of one central tree? we don't have any idea how long ago he passed, right? If that was a world tree sutra world it would explain how they dealt with the blue sun energy's corruption: it was filtered out just like in ke yin's inner world I'd suggest the 2-suns world except that we don't know of any special trees there and the 2-suns corruption is bad, and might not be an inner world, and there are more clues pointing to the other realm and not enough clues pointing toward 2-suns world.

Fun thought, but the inner spirit would’ve known what the blue energy was if that was the case and what a genius seed could do. Also I’m pretty sure the Sect master’s master isn’t dead. Just no longer in a lower realm.
