I don't understand the title of this chapter. Is the "god" Li Tianyu, and it's about Yuan's disillusionment? Or is any Civilization Realm cultivator "god" enough for Xu Yao's ego death to count?

I kinda expected something like this to happen, second to Yuan killing her. It was implied that she borrowed from powerful people, and those who can provide resources that help you to reach the civilization realm faster than normal must be monsters among demons when it comes to collecting what is owed. But it is nice to see that their victims are usually of the same kind.

I would assume it's Xu Yao, as really anyone life realm or above is definitely a god-like existence that has literally created life. After all most religions start with a story of some primordial god crafting mortals out of the base materials of the world

Lol I would have been happy if you ended the chapter on "But watching Shen Wuming disappear into the distance with Xu Yao's empty shell following behind him, Yuan was certain he had made the right choice." No cliffhanger. A perfect ending that won't make me pull my hair out because I have to wait 3 days lol. But no, your Dao of Cliffhangers will not be denied.

I'm curious about one thing: Demonic Qi. Is it a completely new type of energy, or is it more akin to Demonic Essence, like the essence of wood, fire, or air, which could be said to color Qi according to its type? Another issue concerns Ke Yin's absorption of such a thing. In theory, as we know, even if the energy itself has negative properties for its owner, such as solar energy, the Genesis Seed will protect Ke Yin. Is there any other reason besides Ke Yin's reluctance to absorb such energy? His inner world, in theory, shouldn't be harmed either—again, the Genesis Seed filters energy, and the cultivation method itself prevents his inner world from being damaged because it absorbed energy it shouldn't.
