Hey there,

I'm nearly done with the environment of the new cave location, except for placing enemies and collectables; I will do that after I created both of them.
Currently I work on the gameplay of how to actually enter the new area. I went with a light-sensitive thorn scrub that the player needs to use 3 light potions on to get rid of it. Similar of how to bypass the gate to the mansion.

There is an entrance to the cave in the forest, but I wanna connect it to the mansion as well. Doing this currently as well.

Once I've done all that I can finally start working on the enemies. The enemies that will make it into the cave location are:
Kobold male, kobold female, The Insect (from zum Damenhaus), Roper (a trap), Orc, Bug (not yet specified), a tentacle trap and Wendigo

The Orc will be the next elite enemy which I won't do in this update.
Also I wanna connect The Insect to a new game mechanic and I'm not sure if I do it this update or not. I rather wanna get it done now. More on that game mechanic at a different point of time. Most likely the last enemy I will create cause of that.

Once I started working on the enemies I will share you a screenshot and more information about each one. I won't talk about or show any animations, just so I don't spoil the surprise for you.

I learned something today! AliceSoft also has roots in D&D. That monster fits this game so well. Looking forward to all this cool stuff!

Regarding the 'new mechanic' with the insect- will this involve... eggs? There are some interesting possibilities out there with that!

Indeed it will. I will talk about it at some other point in time. After I'm done with the rest of the new enemies.
