I'm pretty sure Villy has been tossing his blessing around somewhat strategically to bring together the nomadic snakes under the big sea snake we've heard mentioned. Essentially creating a third faction to back his chosen. So i'm expecting as you said he's going to be meeting that noodle next chapter.

It's the snake that was already strong as fuck but now also blessed by Villy to tilt the scales in his favour (Also that 100% counts as a pun). Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Villy sent out a divine message and told him the snake to bring a bunch of other powerhouses to x location and make sure Jake doesn't get killed trying to make friends.

They're currently trying to earn their spots as administrators, while Jake already earned his. I believe the world leaders in the chimera event were the ones to get the automatic upgrade, while those that contributed greatly became administrator candidates and have to perform well enough in their current event to become full administrators

For the main event, I want a primordial watch party. Mistaken assumptions on Jake's capability to make dumb decisions and still pull things out in the end. Petty squabbles. Lovers pretending to hate each other as their factions are in a Neverending war. Valdemar trying to steal jake.

Way I see it, he's done so much better than expected so far that he was due a Jake Moment or two. That being said, he did already tell those A grades (and prove to them) that he was under the protection of someone much stronger than them. He just underestimated how stupid some powerful people can be.

it would actually make a lot of sense for a ton of B grade snakes to be the next batch to leave. They can act as enforcers outside of Venus to make sure the other B grade factions behave. Especially since earth is going to be relatively undefended with the Event going on, Jake's gonna disappear soon too

Hmm. Jake could still throw down a teleport pad here in Venus and take newly integrated batches of Forerunners directly to Primordial 4. Some blessed snakes could even help him build a big one He could easily sell that plan as Primordial 4 is a gateway nexus of sorts and the best place for them to learn about the multiverse Less risk to Earth, faster integration for the newbs. Win win

It keeps him close in level, but not power. Jake is still ridiculously more powerful than most people in the 93rd and many in the multiverse. There are those that could be considered close in the 93rd, but definitely not more powerful. Each level Jake gets is worth more in power than what others get. Jake's way of levelling requires him to fight things that are a challenge, so just going out and mass killing weak creatures of the same level just do not work well. I think as time progresses we are going to start seeing Jake greatly surpass those around him. I am also expecting that a lot of these characters will start reaching points where they cannot break through to the next grade. Jake still hasn't gotten a race quest, and his class and profession quests have been completed by the time he needs to evolve. This has granted him the ability to immediately evolve as soon as he gets to the required level. This hasn't been the case for others. This has been made up by them reaching the level requirement sooner than Jake, but then being slowed down by quests. So I am expecting that when A-Grade comes around a lot of these characters will take an eternity to evolve if they ever do so. Some might even decide not to pursue it as fervently as Jake does. Jake also has the benefit of being the Chosen of a very powerful Primordial. He has all his needs taken care of and can be introduced to dungeons to help him level. We have already seen situations where previous characters are no longer talked about. Arthur, William, Casper, Sylphie, the warpsnatcher, and many other are just not really talked about anymore. They only come up in passing, or small paragraphs. Eventually we are only going to see other Chosen of primordials. At least that is my opinion.

The snakes are definitely going to align with the Order. Which will automatically make the big snake guy immediately fall under Jake. As a Chosen Jake is pretty much the second-in-command for the Order. I do not know about bringing a shit-ton of them out of the boundary. I think Jake is more likely to keep everything even between the factions. It just seems like a Jake thing to do. We can only wait and see, I think that whatever Villy has planned is what will determine how things proceed.

Hmm, possibly. I think it is more about the fact that the head honcho snake has arrived on scene. If time-dilation was a thing here, I doubt everyone would be still standing around waiting. Also it wouldn't make sense because this minor world is supposed to eventually fully integrate with the 93rd and the boundary will come down.

It is entirely possible that he isn't the first in the 93rd. There is the possibility that a different minor world was significantly easier to integrate with the multiverse. Could have been a minor world full of weak creatures below C-Grade. Either that or Zog didn't think of or want to give a title by doing it. Or maybe Jake has to fully integrate the minor world before he gets the title. Or even he has to get the minor world to ally or fall under his rule.

Entirely possible. My best guest attendees is the Blight Father, Yggdrasil, and Eversmile because he just has to be involved in everything. Valdemar is another good one specifically because of his interest in what Jake is up to. I cannot think of any reason any of the others would be interested other than just curiosity. On the opposite argument, Villy is quite protective of Jake and he might not want them to even be aware of what is going on.

It just wouldn't work IMO. The minor world will eventually be fully integrated and the boundary will drop. Then you factor in the fact of if there was time-dilation why would everyone still be standing there waiting. Especially a bunch of the most powerful A-Grades on the minor world.

Was it ever stated on how many factions there are on this minor world? Someone in a previous chapter said 5, but I do not remember reading it. So far I have counted 4 if you consider the bog-lord creature at the beginning of the arc to be one. We have Frogs, Undead Spiders, and snakes. They all seem to be poison related creatures, or at least capable of being poisonous or venomous. Which seems fitting for the toxic nature of Venus and this minor world. So if there is another faction it would probably be something that also fits into that category. I am thinking it is only really 3 because those are the only ones that have been mentioned or Jake has met so far. The bog-lords just seem to be unintelligent creatures and locked to being in the ocean. I do not see them being able to fly out of the boundary.

It’s funny how everyone assumes the big ocean snake has come. I doubt those B grade minions have had time to reach him let alone for him to decide to come out for a look see. I’ll bet it’s more that each side called in more fighters to try to “ambush” and kill the opposition, but they both did it so it’s a cluster cluck. But I also think Villy probably blessed the snake and gave him a quest to protect Jake: “I’ll give you a lesser blessing for now. Keep my Chosen alive and I’ll upgrade the blessing” Or something similar.

So I guess the implication is at least one side will think it benefits them to annihilate the other including Jake to prevent anyone but themselves and their faction the ability to exit. Jake being naive doesn’t realize this and Villy is as everyone has said giving out blessing to tilt the scales in his chosen favor preventing his doom with some backup.

spoiler alert!!!! entire population weaker than jake received title. a grades agreed to truce as they formed invasion armies to grab territory. Bigsnek (TM jake thane 2026) showed up with his snake, hippo, goat, and Llama allies to stop the invasion.

Thanks for the chapter! Always love little segments that show Villy’s perspective on Jake and his actions or antics. It is also nice to see him act protective of his friend. Like real friends, they bicker and mock each other, but I always love to see a reinforcement or showcase that Villy does care about Jake more than just for the benefit of records. If something ever happened to Jake, I have a feeling that the rest of the Primordials would immediately gather to try and “calm” or at least limit the extent of Villy’s rage.

sadly he does not see him entirelly as his friend seeing how there is a line in there saying "Vilas had no intention of losing his Chosen this early on." the main focus on the word chosen, it reveals to the reader what he sees him as his chosen regardless of jake relation with the slithery god with this said i am not claiming his friendship with jake is fake, but rather what he cares more about what gains he obtains from his chosen actions(after all their relationship in part is transactional)

It's elementary my dear watson. The frogs do not have long distance hive mind communication. The spiders double crossed the frogs and the frogs were merely prepared to defend themselves. But brsherlock, the frogs could have cast a tracking spell of some sort and the spiders just reacted. Ahhhh, yes Watson. I see what you are saying. In fact, there might not have been any double crossing at all. Perhaps the others are correct and another group arrived which means it has to be the poison hippo tribe. Watson shakes his head but remains silent because he knows there are several possibilities involving a double crossing and several that do not involve skullduggery. There could be a third group riding to the rescue or a third group coming to steal ol wooden face. In fact, villy might have had a talk with bigsnek and scared him shutless because villy knew exactly what bigsnek would do if left without "guidance".

PoL isn't really churchy, that is more the M.O. of the Holy Church. As of now we really do not know who these factions will align with. Most of us are just basing it off the affinity they are aligned to. The frogs are life affinity focused so that naturally points them to PoL. Arachnecs are death affinity focused so they would go with the Risen. The snakes are well snakes so the Order is the best fit for them. However, the Order really accepts anyone regardless of their affinity. So all three factions could go to the Order especially monsters (which all three factions on the minor world technically are).

This is very late of me, but I just realized Villy is no longer written as Vilastromoz. That's how he was referred to throughout his Nevermore POVs, for example. He really did sacrifice his dragon self in the Yip fight and is now Vilas
