Hey Everyone,

Sorry for the later upload than usual today. Chatfield has been successfully dropped at the airport, and is now safely... somewhere else with more than a few bottles of wine to keep the party going. It was a great time having him here, but now I'll have the rest of September to get some serious words done.

Here are three chapters which, as promised, brings us to the end of the long crafting session. I enjoyed writing these chapters, and there is an important segment in here that likely gives a few hints towards the overall plot of the book and why we have our title.

I've still got line edits to do for Book 5 which is due on the 21st of September, the day after my birthday. Don't worry, I'm not the type to celebrate them, so I'll be writing. :)

Hope you all had a great weekend and that you like the chapters. There is a question I wanted to ask you all, though. What would you name the new Arkwright 2.0. I've a few ideas myself, but wanted to see what you all came up with. :)

I want sal to start using these tools to motivate people to clean out new territory so they can get people off those ships.

Just finished the new chapters! They are awesome! I almost feel your strength in your current writing. You doing great Brian! It is all coming together as I knew it would!

As always with your writing I can’t wait for the next chapters lol Excellent chapters

I have an idea that would help your readers keep up / understand the crafting chapters .( for me at least) .. When you are lisitening to the audiobooks it is hard to go back and reference the details. If there were a list of materials with their properties, as well as the abilities with their descriptions.... You get the idea.

My name idea for the new Arkwright would be ‘the creation station’

Hmmm maybe partner with the hunter bureau to build ships in a deal to release divinity and Norman?

My guess for the new name would be Phalanx for a few reasons. 1. Quest already mentioned it. 2. Phalanx was the brother of Arachne. 3. In some versions Athena teaches Phalanx the art of war. Aside from that, I think my personal frustration with crafting chapters isn't that they're bad, it's that there are so many other things going on that I want to see more. Guild stuff, portals, character interaction and love interests, classes, fighting monsters, invention guild, guild leaders reaction to Athena and the elixir machine, eventual Spectre beat down and other power scaling fights/tournaments. Crafting for me is a means to an end. Like now sal doesn't have to spend 5 chapters crafting for backorders. I do respect Brian's love for writing the crafting stuff and how he does it, it's just not what I'm personally excited for. Others probably are though which is all cool. Every story has arcs that I'm not excited about. Plus it's the middle third of the book so meh. Still really wanna see Vanessa spar with new and improved Sophia though lol.

Just remember that Vanessa is (presumably) new and improved with her bodysuit now :)

Mr. Brian, is it possible to both love and dread Monday at the same time? I love the fact we are getting new releases, yet hate the wait. This isn’t to hurry you, just to let you know how much I personally enjoy your work.

On Discord, Brian said it would be a late delivery this week - some rewriting, he said.

Sal is building infrastructure. Now we need to see other people using that infrastructure to do great things. Someone else, not Sal, should be developing better barriers. A few other people should be working on Darwin cruises. Someone should develop a way to rebuild destroyed buildings. Now Sal isn't the only person who will be able to make better armor and weapons! All of this as a result of these awesome workstations. That is where the magic happens in my opinion.

I must admit the world in this book was a great idea. I love reading and finding oute more about it. The whole apocalypse storyline is written masterfully.
