Hey Everyone,
Just to start off, there seemed to be issues with how I shared out the forms for creating characters. Patreon was telling some members that they needed to upgrade their subscriptions which was absolutely not my intention.

That said, we did get like thirty or so responses which is an excellent trial run for me. I learned a few things about the questions I asked and how much of an idiot I am.

Rather than submitting Google Forms, I'd ask for people to instead message me on Patreon. That way I'll get an email with all the answers, and I'll be able to interact with you individually if something is unclear. I'll also be able to easily verify who is in what Tier. I already have the answers from everyone that filled out the form, so they don't need to message.

Also, be patient with me when it comes to message responses as there will be a few hundred people to get back to and I'll be recording the answers separately.

This applies for everyone in the Student Tier and above. :)

Things I need:

  • Character Name: First Name, Family Name.

  • Student Year (If Applicable): First Years will be the new intake coming into Quest Academy. Second Years will be considered the same year as Sal and the others.

  • Hero Name (If Applicable)

  • Guild Name (If Applicable)

  • Essence Category: Psionic, Mimicry, Body Transformation, Body Manipulation, Movement, Influence, Invention, Energy Manipulation.

  • Class Designation: Controller, Healer, Support, Defence, Offence

  • Ability: Give me the proposed name of your ability, and a description of how it works.

  • Personality: Give me a few details of the character's quirks and personality.


Okay, now that the admin is out of the way... here are the chapters! I hope you enjoy them. It's good to be back. My sleeping pattern is wildly out of whack, but I'm happy with how things were flowing. :)

Just got the Developmental edits back for Quest Academy: Loyalists so I'll be working on them this week. I'll still be trying to get a good chunk of chapters out next Monday.

Great work on the new chapters. Good thing Sal finally worked on Seth's weave. I was waiting to see if Mica was going to boot Sal in the pants.

Upgrade assigns Elina to go to a training room with O'Brien and then later says she's waiting on Elina to come for her Athena Session. Should it be a different person she's waiting on coming for the Athena Session

Just like that all 4 chapters read... Nice progression to the book. Sal using Prime to assist with Task management, and freeing up time. We got Sal using his Paragon Skill to assist to additional members. So glad the Darwin cruise Arc isn't turning into a just building a town. And the MTC (Mythic or Maestro Training Center)is such a great way to build rapport with the refugees and guilds. I see the meeting with Arcology , Locke, Vector drooling over the idea.. it addresses everything that Petro tasked Sal with.. it will be a self sustainable economy... Great start to a Ventures..

In an alternate reality Sal sees how much stuff he has to do and decides he needs to relax. He uses Prime to create and manage a game. He then disappears into a virtual reality capsule and spends the rest of his life in a digital world.

I excited with the new story line going forward a in-depth look into the future of the relationship between the two the refugees and the people who are living there on the land and the Barry project seems like it is the best way to get them all together on the right track

Chapter 3: -"can't have you hiding up here when we're doing there risking our bodies" I assume "doing" should be "down". -"you'll probably be able the changes as they're happening" Missing "to see" between "the changes" Chapter 4: -Incredibly minor, but: "You don't need to be here for their session." I believe it should be "sessions", since it is regarding two people, and they can only be done one at a time.

Just curious. If Brian did an early release at midnight GMT, which would take priority, QA or watching the SB? I’ve never played any RPG, but I think watching the SB might qualify?

I feel like Sal has a bit of genius dementia. He is wildly creative, very capable, caring, and.... Just all over the place. I also felt dissonance with "yesterday, I had a huge To Do List. Today I can't figure out what to do." I've met people like this. The difference is, Sal is able to actually accomplish some of the things he envisions, so it hides his dysfunction. He makes a thing and pretty much forgets about it and moves on to the next thing. He needs a huge bunch of people he can delegate to running the stuff he has already created. Up to now it's always seemed like a mishmash of friends and skeleton crew.
