It is very good to hear you enjoyed your travels and recovered from the inevitable post-journey lurgy. These chapters were fun. I can't imagine Robert's (or Quest's) reaction when they learn about it. A phenomenally powerful, autonomous, self-repairing and self-replicating drone that learns abilities and gets stronger the more it kills in the control of students? No way they won't freak out. After the end of Chap 16, I'm hoping the Reign Guard is enough to get Doc Ameye to visit Sal at the academy and see all the stuff he's built with all the materials he sent. Since it is a legendary grade material, they'll have to get Doc to examine it to give it a value. One look at it and he'll be beating down Sal's door at 2am to know how he made it and if he could get some more please.

Sal suggesting to wait to take Sovereign out until after arc guild meeting? Seriously!? … I don’t mean to seem bloodthirsty or anything but come on! Let’s see what she can do! Sorry I just finished the first chapter, and off to work for me. Good stuff though.

Thanks for the chapters. Fun as always. This may be too technical, but I am curious - why are jackal, slinky and the matriarch not being able to communicate ? Do you dislike the the trope of funny and adorable companion/sidekick in the fantasy/litrpg genre? You are hinting at personality, but barely any communication. It seems intentional that you are keeping them mute.

Is Sovereign going to be the subject of the cover for Book 7? If so, can we get a glimpse of the cover or even the whole cover now that Sovereign has been revealed :-))

Drones = so many ways this can go - fight, build, collect, deliver then pets or robots; then can they talk and can they look professional so they can become another line the sell for the guild?

Honestly I appreciate the chapters, but with all you had going on. It would have been understandable if you just held off until Monday, since it's only a few days away. Get some rest dude, stories work best, when the writer gets his rest.

Get well, Boss! Yes, we will still whine when we don't get our fix (we are addicts, and it's your fault) but we understand that family and health always have to come first! Trust me, we will be here (turning blue from holding our breath) waiting on your next chapters. Rather have a couple good chapters, than ones that you try to force out just to keep us placated!

Snarky sidekicks do annoy me, and I feel like it's a step too far to give a fully voiced personality to a drone. In my mind, there's a limit to the suspension of disbelief, and I feel I'd be pushing it with vocal drones. Also, with the raw processing power of these devices, words would be awfully inefficient as a method of communication. Just my thoughts, but I've considered it a few times here and there, but haven't found a reasonable method that sits right with me.

Weird pivot out of left field, but how is Sal's Mom doing? We haven't seen her in a long while. Is she fully healed? Is she planning on visiting soon? What is her plan going forward?

In Legions, I think, his dad tells Sal she was fully healed and was running dungeons to get mats for Sal. He should probably contact her and tell her she can stop as she is now just wasting her time and putting herself at risk for no reason. However, he REALLY sucks at communicating and probably forgot about it around three seconds after he was told about it. Maybe she already stopped after Petro told her about his material synthesis machine? Edit: it was in Loyalists

I don't know if I've missed something but I thought the spider project was supposed to be mainly for Fabi? But now it's just Sal's and the Mythic guilds toy and Sal has full say of what to do with it? Just kind of feels like Fabi got sidelined I understand it was going to be joint between them but yeah just thought this would be more linked and controlled by Fabi while sharing resources. Unless she's going to join the guild soon 🤞. Hope you feel better Brian don't push so hard while you're sick I'm sure we would all understand if you needed more rest.

Ps. I definately think Sal should make that secretary drone as a beautiful life size humanoid woman that can also be a bodyguard and another but more hands on mythic version of protocol and call her Minerva. But get the sidekick thing is always a trope

I’m pretty new to Quest academy, loving it and loving the new chapters every week, fantastic work ethic Brian! ( hmm, reminds me of some character in the books!😂). Just a question that has probably been already discussed lots, (someone please direct me to posts if it has) has there been much correlation between the Questiverse and current UK geography? Apart from the references to the Shard I haven’t found any, but I’ve been reading at warp speed so might have missed it.
