What a fantastic finale, S2 has been a pleasure to watch and I can't wait to start Queen Charlotte next week!!

P.S. apologies for this being out late, planned to get it out early but turns out we had a LOT to cover so the video is just under 2 hours long heh

Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

lol I wish you could react to every single show I’ve ever watched, the analysis dotted throughout the reactions and after are so fucking good

I really do think the only reason why Penelope never told Eloise that she was LW from the start is because of how much Eloise despises high society. Penelope loves the balls, the gowns and falling in love – all the things Eloise despises. Of course Eloise would support her friend if she knew her true feelings about it, but Penelope isn’t one to advocate for herself. And Eloise being the bigger personality in their friendship, doesn’t notice the little things about Penelope. That’s why she never figured out that Pen was LW nor that she’s in love with Colin.

Portia is actually my favourite Bridgerton character, only narrowly beating out Anthony. She’s a very flawed person, brash, rude, harsh with her daughters, but underneath that hard exterior, she really is just a woman doing her best and trying to secure better futures for her daughters than she had (married to a man who could not keep his house in order and was to proud to take advice from a woman or respect his wife’s intelligence). I also love how she takes advantage of society’s flaws like misogyny and uses that as a weapon to get what she wants. It’s exactly like when highborn ladies of the past gained soft power through the men around them, whether it was their sons or their husbands. Portia is such a realistic portrayal of a woman of her time.

same! I'd love his insight on Lost, Fringe, Severance, the Handmaid's Tale, or Outer Banks, Ginny and Georgia, Interview with the Vampire.... the list goes on and on

A reaction to Interview with the Vampire would be SO good

Watching Bridgerton again with you has really brought back my mixed feelings on the show. I can’t honestly say I like the franchise as a whole but it is entertaining to catch up on. My problem with both seasons is I always like the first half of the season but then by the second half I can’t stand certain character motivations and I just speed run to get to the happily ever after. Overall, love the directing, production and the side characters (Lady Danbury my queen) of the show which is why I keep coming back 😂 (currently feels like going back to an ex due to familiarity).
