So, I recall last season you asked us to rank the episodes. Given this some thought. The singular masterpiece of the season is Eulogy; Jesus Christ was Paul Giamatti was so FUCKING great in that one. Presently that is my favorite episode of the episodes that I’ve seen, and I can see it being my favorite of the whole series. That one’s number one. Plaything comes in at second; Peter Capaldi is that good. Bête Noire comes in at third. This one is hard to rank as its own standalone thing. It is about tied with Common People. Hotel Reverie does end up last of the season. I know you mentioned hearing that fans seemed to like that one the least. As I said, it does end up last of the season for me, but it was still very good, and it does speak to the strength of the season. Again, really loved sharing this season with you, Jess.

Hotel Reverie was my favourite along with Eulogy I don't really understand why people didn't like it and I've not seen any good arguments against it. Plaything is at the bottom for me, love Capaldi but there wasn't as much substance to that episode.
