Congrats on being so close to the finish line! You’ve created something huge, I’m sure people are gonna love picking it apart and seeing every path they can take.

Can't wait, good luck on the final sprint to the end

Maybe it's because I binged Upturned in one go and it was 3 AM when I finished, but the ending moved me to tears. Maybe I didn't understand all of the specifics, but the message was undeniable. I have faith that you'll do just as well with this next story. ^^

Best of luck with the last of the development! I hope that getting it out and having people see it will bring you some peace for the project! 🙏

(doubt I'll get an answer tbh but) You say you're pretty accurate in predicting how your games will be received. Out of curiosity, what were your expectations of Lethal Company? Did you have your doubts or did you believe it would be rather successful, albeit not so successful that it became literally genre defying as it did?

zeekerss

I knew it would be more successful than any of my other games, which was easy to assume just because it's multiplayer. But once we did the big playtest with 100 players, I was sure I had something really good.

11 days until The Dark Place welcomes us all... Looking forward to it! (Or should I not?)

I wonder how it feels to finally reach a finish line for something you've been working on for years on end. Either way, good luck! I hope you reach the deadline.

I’m excited for WTTDP, even though I don’t know if I’ll like it because I’m not a fast reader.I I think the fact that it’s free is really generous, and will make a lot of people to try it who otherwise wouldn’t, so I’m excited to try it even if I don’t finish. The Sound Idea seems really cool though, I can’t wait to hear all the cool sounds. Honestly I think you might be one of if not the best developer when it comes to sound design. I would love to see a patreon post on how you make sounds.

I really enjoy listening to the sounds in your games. The sound of the Butler appearing gives me goosebumps. OST to the moons is also very beautiful.
