Can i ask a respectful question? Do movie reaction youtubers or content creators co-ordinate their content? I follow and subscribe to alot of different youtubers that do the same content as the media knights and it occurs to me.... Yes, when major blockbusters or highly anticipated new releases come to streaming, everybody gets on the same bandwagon (for example, when Deadpool & Wolverine and Alien Romulus dropped, everybody dropped it at the same time. Made sense.) but a movie like V For Vendetta, that was released years ago, one group does a video of it, then all of a sudden a bunch of movie reaction youtubers seemingly dropped the same movie at the same time, even thou there's no obvious reason why everyone is picking coincidently this movie to watch at that particular time, Unless....every movie reaction channel with big or medium sized followings co-ordinate what they drop at any given time. I could be very much wrong, but it seems funny to me to see one platform say through a patreon poll, chooses a movie to watch, only for that movie to pop up on other channel's lineup immediately afterwards, with no reasoning how they came to that decision. Just putting that out there. I'm happy that i get to check out different reactions to the same movie. Just thought the timing sometimes is really such a concidence.

Nope, not really. We do talk amongst each other and get along quite well but we don’t coordinate what we are doing. For the most part this is due to dates, today is the 5th of November so V for Vendetta is to be expected. These past few weeks it was “Halloween season” so you’d expect a lot of horror to pop up and so on.

I would even add (as an unbiased observer) that besides coordinating movies to specific dates and events, it would be almost unwise not to do reactions to movies that have been successful on other channels, especially since (at least for me, I like) seeing different takes on the same movie. Many reactors also have (as OP as well) many different reaction channels they follow, so easily people suggest movies that others have reacted to. There are several hundred reaction channels dedicated to movies and TV shows (steadily rising), bigger movies draw in a crowd. I haven’t seen many channels being successful with reacting to unknown small budget films because they’re lesser known. Since the entertainment of watching other people’s genuine reactions is based on the premise that the viewer has already seen the movie themselves and want to see what other people think. Especially after the lockdowns where people felt alone, it gave a sense of a moment of a shared experience. I think it’s great when the movies of channels I follow, occasionally have the same movie, but variety is always important. Keep up the great content! So happy to be back! 🤠
