NGL, The Fifth Element is pretty bad, I think (opinions may differ) Platoon is based on Oliver Stone's own enlistment. Not perfect, but powerful film

The Fifth Element is one of my all time favourite films. It's a lot of fun, and looks great. Seems like it splits opinions, though.

Melissa Creel

The Fifth Element is awesome. Campy in the best way. Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, Milla Jovovich, and Chris Tucker, and chaos.. It's a great, fun movie!! Korben Dallas Multi Pass..

Richard Marchena

Se7en was the best crime thriller in the 90a

Powerful selection there, difficult choice. I want Braveheart, Arrival, Dances with Wolves, and Fifth Element. But since Fifth Element always seems to lose in polls, I'm voting for that this time around. I hope the rest of the entries will still be watched though, maybe run the poll again and again until all options are picked.

Se7en is one of the best movies I never want to see again. It completely gave me chills and a sense of dread. It really hits you psychologicaly. And I don't normally get freaked by movies. I mean, I really like Silence of the Lambs and it doesn't come close to getting me like Se7en. I can barely even think about it without getting chills and upset. It's very well done but so dark and haunting. If you guys watch it I will like it and even comment but I can't watch it. I don't think I can ever watch it again.

As a Scot I should go to jail if I don't vote for Braveheart ;) But really disappointed that so few want to see Platoon, because Platoon is stunning, one of the greatest movies of all time and I would have recommended it in a heartbeat. But let me tell you, Se7en is incredibe and Children Of Men is one of those movies that made my jaw drop when I first saw it. Original, brilliant, world building of the most incredible kind with a bravura central performance and an awesome supporting case. It is so grim and realist in how it was shot ... it'll blow your minds. Those four are the standouts. I enjoyed The Fifth Element, but it's not at the level of those four films, which are just works of art and Children Of Men is perhaps t he most unexpected of them. Platoon is the best war movie ever made and all the better for the being a film made by a guy who was there in Vietnam ... read Ebert's review and you'll see how he viewed it. Such a fantastic film, with a cast to die for including a superlative performance from Charlie Sheen which makes you ache for the actor he should have been and was so, so capable of becoming. Se7en is just gloriously dark and will linger in your psyche for weeks after you see it. But as a Scot, it's gotta be Braveheart. You'll have a great time with that film :)

Platoon is awesome Hot take: Rob Roy is the best Scottish period piece (**ducks and runs**)

James Forrest

Awww man :) Rob Roy is fantastic :) Absolutely banging movie! Tim Roth has never, ever, ever, ever been as good in ANYTHING he's been in and that is no insult to Made In Britain or his Tarantino roles. Just flawless.

Jenna

Hoping Arrival wins!! But I figure yall will watch all of these eventually 👀😁

Jamie Neill

As a proud Scot I agree with you - Platoon is incredible - arguably my fav war film - & it’s hard not to pick Braveheart. Such a good list of films!

Raul Hernandez

Though it’s currently the lowest rated on this poll, I hope you get to see Children of Men sometime. It’s a great movie. Pretty stiff competition though…

Kelby Farley

Fifth Element all the way!! Chi-cken... Good.

Jack Burton

Ever since I learned Braveheart was a bunch of historic nonsense it's not the same.

Jack Burton

Also, if you guys haven't seen any of these, you need to watch every single one. All of these movies are more than worthy of a great reaction. They are all pretty amazing movies.

WhiteWolf

There are actually 3 movies I have not seen, I went to the cinema to watch se7en with my then partner, She got up and walked out with me in tow after the first gruesome scene. It was her idea to go and see it. So she couldn't blame me.

MaggieS61

This is really a tough vote. All of these movies are wonderful films (though not a big fan of Fifth Element, and I love Bruce Willis). But my vote is for Dances With Wolves. It was ground-breaking at the time, and imo, a masterpiece.

John Hoffler Jr.

This is a great list. But had to vote for Children of Men. It is the reason I have my entire career in the film industry…. It’s a marvel of cinematography. And inspired me to pursue work in camera. It won’t win the poll… but… I can’t wait for you guys to see it one day.

Jamie Neill

I would agree with Jack Burton - watch them all! They’re all good shouts. On a personal note could you do your Karate Kid 3 reaction? It’s not the same as the first 2 but I’d like to see you react - if you ever watch the Cobra Kai series then part 3 ties in to it. I’d recommend Cobra Kai :-)

James Briscoe

Platoon is by far the greatest movie on this list. Not surprised it’s last in the poll but I know eventually you guys will get to it and I can’t wait

ScotchBeard78

Oh man, you guys will LOVE Children of Men. It is incredible. The writing, directing, acting, its production design, and definitely its cinematography are all top-tier.

ButtercupsTrueLove

I think the film caught some folks off guard if all they saw beforehand was the movie poster or ad in the paper and the names of the cast.

Joseph Sapp

There was an Arrival movie in 1996 that was pretty good for its time.

Rob Frawley 2nd

Will you guys be doing The Firth Element soon?
