I’m hoping Alden gets some levels out of Dora’s book. In fact maybe it pushes him to green in alchemy and he has to tell his grandmother. She asks about the insights and the book resource and Kai/Matt gets outed as someone grandmama wants to meet… probably better than before he wins the moon trial… When Alden goes to take it to his room I really hope Kai calls out “hey swiper no swiping” then when questioned on it shouts out “vamanos” and takes off…

Thanks for the chapter. I think it is hilarious that Kai is worried about showing Alden the book because the recipes are all named after him and Alden doesn't even notice the recipes because he is astonished by who the author is. Granted, as soon as he gets over who Dora is, he is then going to seriously wonder why the recipes are all named after Kai, who Kai is, and just why does Matthew have this book.

It’s going to be interesting when others identifying him as Kai ends the university arc by smashing all plans. His current identity is obviously a facade to anyone knowing even just the rumors of his real skills and his supposed history. And him being Kai is hard to guess because Kai was mostly unknown and is very much confirmed dead. But he’s constantly giving away hints to that effect in so many different ways… I wonder how many know that Kai was supposed to have interesting knowledge at all. It’s probably mostly lost among the reports of an expedition going wrong and losing members. Never mind the specifics that the secrets concern a hidden realm.
