Tftc Göad the Masked One got some Buttkicking, he deserves it. As for Wu Kangming, he is kind of a loser, lol. Well his attitude makes more sense then the usual MCs, that get by on cheats but think they are the best. Wu Kangming flexes to mask his insecurities, it's basically: "Fake it, till you make it"

To counter though, Wu Kangming is a literal trope personified. I've read at least 3 xianxia about "hidden expert", and every one of them has an arc where the master is trapped in a weakened state and then the MC feels all insecure/lonely.

Looking forward to seeing the Masked One die in a way that causes his soul to be extinguished painfully. In the meantime it would be interesting if Ke Yin could heal the sword saint early with blue sun energy. It would be a good way to keep Brother Wu off his back.
