Goof Nasty

This is wu, this is so wu. This feels so main character syndrome

DeadSlime

Definitely Ke Yin based on his fascination with the spatial talisman’s use as well as his perceptiveness.

Wanderer of Worlds

Absolutely. Also, Kynan said this pov would explore the Cultivation System, which is very much Ke Yin's Style. Also also, since the Sect Master sent them into this world to experience New things, it is likely that their family situations are reversed from what they grew up with, which matches what's happening here.

Lowkey really relieved that they were both born as boys, it would have a bit too much if one was born a girl.

wayoutofsight

It's still too soon, perhaps red herings, but feeling the vibes of Ke Yin, the father holding a formation, having lost his "first life" and being transported to a place far away, living under a new name that hides his true origins and having good fortune since he acumulated alot of good karma

Jamarr

So they became friends in this new life, in case anyone forgot Tian's friend who fell off the cliff was Hou Hongyun.

Proto

Aha! I suspected Hou Hongyun would be the other candidate given they're the only two we've heard about with blue eyes, not a clue which is which but I'll take this small victory

Crimson wolf

This is so Ke Yin. I mean, seriously, he sacrificed himself for his friend without hesitation, that's so Ke Yin

E

Totally right it reads way better this way with both those chapters together. Fantastic intro to the viewpoint and the ending to this chapter I thought was really so good

I think this is Kane, Kane has good parents; while Kangmings may as well not even exist. I think the world is making them experience the other way of growing up.

J

Honestly kind of disappointed she left the bandits alive. They're human filth. I guess now they can attack and kill/enslave the next poor bastards that cross paths with them.

DangerX

I figured hou was the other one. Just not quite confident enough

Endgame

Nah. She pushed a persuasion though to make them question their choices. But even if they don't, she couldn't risk someone finding out about her and the child. What if some of the slavers saw her but she didnt sense them? What if some were not in their camp right then and they track them down later on?
