Rah

Wait so he didn’t use his like orb of creation or whatever it was

Kynan

Forgot to mention, next chapter will be out in an hour or so, needs some final edits

Monstersjsisis

Nah that is suppose to be used on a permanent life form and using it on bees would be pretty sad for a first creation since it’s very rare

Coorsbie

Maybe he can backdoor into permanent creations by having the queen bee lay a bunch of eggs, which will produce a new queen not dependent on blue sun energy

Rina

I just want to say that songbirds in nature aren’t purely decorative. In his inner world they might largely become so with a lack of seed bearing or fruit bearing flora and the fact that his inner world only just gained its first insect. But some of them fill the ecological niche as population control for larger insects like butterflies and spiders, as well as bees, though that’s usually more of an opportunistic thing. They’re also important as a large proportion of song birds are seed eaters. They’ll carry seeds to completely new areas and allow for the spread of a species across a large area, they also work to make a dent in the Many seeds these species often produce so they don’t actually completely overwhelm the ecosystem.

Touch

Blue Sun creation might open the gateway or karma or smth for that entity? Or corrupt the bees? Will they cultivate one day? BTW I KNEW it was gonna be a bee or insect for pollination

Yanni

Maybe the queen will gain sentience as time goes by.

Don’t discount the usefulness of worms. When worms were added to the americas in the 16th century they completely changed the forest ecosystem. Before this detritus would build up, this was good for young trees in colder regions because large rottjng leave piles produce heat to keep them warm, but can also self ignite. Worms reduced the detritus buildup to nothing. The tunnels they produce lets air and water move through the soil and their nutrient rich excretions feed the plants, not to mention the food they provide for birds, moles, and insects. Speaking improving the soil, ants to the same using their tunnels. Some ant farm fungi and consume decaying fruits and kill other insects. Even locust, i.e. grasshoppers, provide food and control plant growth through consuming the leaves and grasses.
